Whether you are needing to UpSkill or retrain, wanting to undertake a 'taster' before taking on a full industry qualification or looking for further Skills for your current role,
you will find here a range of shorter courses to get yo
u started.

The College offers a number of short programs both accredited and non-accredited delivered with support for your learning if required and from a range of industries, such as:

Retail
Business
Hospitality
Digital Technology
Community Services
Workplace Health & Safety


These programs can also help you meet or exceed your points targets, keeping track of your Workforce Australia obligations and/or help to pay off overdue fines through Work Development Orders (WDO) for eligible participants.

UpSkill - Hospitality Allrounder 

Need to build new skills for work? Finished school and ready to take on the world? Here is your chance to begin your journey towards employment the Hospitality sector.

This is an accredited Program and funding may be available for eligible students.

UpSkill - Bar Skills 

Are you looking for work in a bar or a pub? Give yourself the best chance against the competition and place yourself on the top of the candidate list.
The
Bar Skills Course is designed for anyone looking to enter the hospitality industry who requires basic skills training in bar operations.

This program is non accredited and funding may be available for eligible students.
 

UpSkill - On the Worksite 

Need to build new skills for work? Finished school and ready to take on the world?Here is your chance to begin your journey towards employment in a number of industries such as construction, farming, warehousing or retail. 

This is an accredited Program and funding may be available for eligible students.

Do you need to retrain in new areas of work but feel that your lack of computer skills is holding you back? Or do you need computer skills to look for work online?
This no pressure course w
ill take you through the very basics of computers from start up and shut down to simple word processing and email.
This is an accredited Program and funding may be available for eligible students.

Join our comprehensive workshops where we delve deeper into the world of technology. If you are looking to enhance your digital proficiency, this program is tailored to elevate your capabilities.

Volunteers

UpSkill - Workplace Communication 

Are you looking for work? Nervous about returning to the workforce? In this program, you will learn some new skills in communication. Learn about teamwork and customer service and how to deal with difficult people. 
We will also cover interview skills, how to present yourself with confidence and what to expect at a job interview.

This is an accredited Program and funding may be available for eligible students.

UpSkill - Housekeeping

Would you like to work in the hospitality industry as a room attendant or housekeeper, or would you like to formalise the skills you already have? Here is your chance to begin your journey towards employment or even a promotion in your current workplace. Nervous about returning to study or to the workforce? Don’t be - we will support your learning.

If preferred, for those wanting to explore career options, we have a range of programs that meet the fulltime study criteria as flexible, blended options as a Certificate II level through our Pathway Programs or at a Certificate III or IV level through our Full Qualifications.
